Fall Engagement Session at Scotsdale Farm with Stephanie and Michael

Wow… have I ever been bad at blogging these past 2 years! I promise to change that starting today with one of my favourite engagement sessions ever! Since Ontario is heading into our second lockdown, and I am done all of my sessions and editing for this year, this should leave me with some extra time to blog all of the amazing days I got to be a part of this year and last.

Stephanie and Michael wanted to have their engagement session done in the Fall and what we ended up with was more like a chilly, rainy, winter day AND I LOVED IT! I am so glad we didn’t reschedule because the weather made this session even more cozy and sweet. Steph and Mike brought a blanket to snuggle up with, a bottle of champagne to pop, AND their super sweet dog Levi. Let’s be honest, I could have done a whole session of just him haha!

Really excited to spend another day with them next summer for their wedding!

The Very Best of 2019

Let me start this post off by telling you how many times I cried, laughed, and swore behind my camera this year because my couples were freaking amazing! They absolutely killed it this year when it came to putting their hearts and souls into their weddings. So many heartfelt speeches, tearful first dances, hilarious moments and all around perfect days that I will always cherish being a part of.

Last year I updated you on both the business and personal goals I had for myself and what I hoped to achieve. While this year started out with similar ambitions, that was quickly put to the test with multiple shitty things happening throughout the year in my personal life including 2 of my loved ones passing away and our family dog Shelby. While taking the time to grieve, I took the time to just hang out and not do so much in my down time while still focussing on my couples and giving them my all! Hopefully 2020 won’t kick my butt as much. Finger’s crossed.

I apologized in last year’s best of blog for posting too many photos, but I feel like this year might have it beat! So sorry, not sorry again!

Thank you sooo much to all of my amazing couples this year and the incredible vendors I got to work alongside.
